This tart is very popular in northern Italy, using ingredients indigenous to the region.  I love to make it when I can use the fresh local ingredients on our Piemonte trip. It is a light tart which pairs well with freshly made lemon whipped cream and a nice glass of Prosecco di Conigliano. - Debbie

This lemon whipped cream tastes heavenly when made with the sweet lemons of Sorrento.  Whenever we host our Amalfi Coast trip I make sure to include this recipe. It is still excellent with good quality lemons found in your area.

Lemon whipped cream goes well with desserts such as the Almond Pine Nut Tart.

You don't get much more traditional than Cassata when it comes to a Sicilian dessert.  While some people now make the Cassata with ice cream, I prefer the more traditional method of using sponge cake sprinkled with sweet Marsala wine.  - Debbie

This is an adaptation of a marvelous cake made by our dear friend Mamma Agata in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast. – Debbie

This is a traditional Piemontese dessert. It is a light way to end any dinner. Serve this with a glass of Moscato wine and perhaps a dollop of whipped cream on the side. – Debbie

This recipe comes from my husband's grandmother, who came to the US from Sicily. They are so yummy, bet you can't eat just 10! - Debbie
